About Elisabeth

PropertiesElisabeth McCay has certifications and years of experience in healing modalities including Reiki, BodyTalk, Reconnective Healing, Chi Gung, Bowen Therapy, Equine Touch, and Quantum Touch. Her development of The MDG Method enabled her to recover from fibromyalgia and heal the resulting damage to her immune system.

Originally from East Germany, her first language was German.  It was all she knew until her first day of school in Detroit, Michigan. As children will, however, she quickly learned English yet is still bi-lingual today. In fact, the name The MDG Method comes directly from German: “Mach Dich Gesund”, which translates to “Make Yourself Healthy!”

After 12 years living in Florida, Elisabeth now happily lives in the beautiful Piedmont of North Carolina with her five lively cats and retired rocket-scientist husband, Ralph.

About The MDG Method

The MDG Method of allergy elimination (also known as "allergy clearing") was  discovered by Elisabeth during her own recovery from fibromyalgia.  What's not commonly recognized is that this illness, a painful chronic soft tissue disorder, can also seriously damage the immune system, leading to a life of allergies.

Not content to live with allergies for the rest of her life, she sought help from a variety of alternative health practitioners, but with different degrees of success.  Ultimately none of these other treatments really seemed to help Elisabeth's immune system and she continued to form allergies, almost daily.  This became the catalyst for the creation of The MDG Method in 1998.

Although for years it was only possible to learn this technique in seminars by Elisabeth, she knew that some day she would want to bring The MDG Method to a wider audience.  What better way to do this than in the form of a book, now readily available worldwide.
